Many customers find that phone data cables, chargers and connecting leads wear, kink or split at the ends while the rest of the cable is still fine. Throwing away a whole cable for a small defect wastes time and money, and a replacement is often not as good as the original. To address this, our R&D team developed several high-ratio, halogen-free, food-grade single-wall shrink tubes that help prevent and repair this kind of damage.
How to use: take a 6 mm, 8 mm or 9 mm high-ratio shrink tube (choose the size to fit the connector), cut it to length, slide it over the connector, and heat it with a household hair dryer for 10–20 seconds until it shrinks into place.
